Objectives
  1. Describe the personal and socio-economic characteristics of poultry keepers in Kwara State
  2. Examine the flock characteristics of the respondents;
  3. Identify the existing traditional methods of incubation and hatching of indigenous poultry eggs in Kwara State
  4. The level of indigenous knowledge about the process involved in incubation and hatching of poultry egg e.g. condition of the incubation area temperature and humidity, candling, turning;
  5. Know the outputs from different methods
  6. Identify the weaknesses and strengths of the different existing methods and
  7. Recommend possible interventions to refine, promote and disseminate knowledge on attitudes and practices related to the existing incubating and hatching methods of poultry eggs.
